It’s “The Perfect Time” to share the winner of our Prom Memories contest
Congratulations to Carolyn Lunn, the winner of “The Perfect Time” prom photo memories contest launched on March 31. Carolyn receives two tickets to the May 22 world premiere of The Perfect Time at the Almonte Old Town Hall. This funny, heartfelt and relatable new musical is about GenXers grappling with nostalgia and “what-ifs” as they prepare for a high school reunion while their graduating kids stare down an uncertain future.
The Perfect Time runs for six performances between May 22 and May 31: Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:30 and Sunday matinees at 2:00. Tickets are $35 ($25 for youth 25 and under) available at Ticketplease.ca. This original show was written by Almonte’s James and Kelly Torck and is directed by Kris Riendeau of Humm Team Productions (hummteam.ca).
Here you can see Carolyn and her date all ready for the Mahone Bay High School (NS) senior prom, 1967. The theme was “Under the Sea”! Her lovely aquamarine dress was made for the occasion by her mother.
