Missing hunter found safe and sound near Pakenham

On November 8, 2012 at approximately 5:15 pm, the Lanark County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a 69 year old man who had not returned from hunting in the Clayton area.

Members of the Lanark County detachment along with an OPP Canine Unit, the OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT), and an OPP helicopter went to the scene to assist with the search in the area of Concession 2B of Ramsay.

The OPP are pleased to report the man was located this morning at 8:25 am safe and sound.  He had been walking through the night and upon reaching a residence in the Pakenham area contacted police.
