(née Beckstead) Peacefully at her home, Fairview Manor, Almonte, Ontario on Monday, February 24, 2014 in her 90th year.
Beloved wife of the late Lyle Francis Smith. Loving mother of Sharon Mavis Lalonde and Steven Lyle Smith (Gail). Mona is predeceased by her son Lynn Irvin Smith and by her son-in-law Roland Lalonde.
Proud grandmother of Todd (Coco) and Kristi Lalonde. Great-grandmother of Kirsten, Kayti, Kristopher and great-great-grandmother of Alliya and Malik. Dear sister of Mavis Nixon and the late Wilson Beckstead.
Friends may call at the Almonte Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 154 Elgin Street, on Thursday, February 27, 2014 from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Friday from 12 noon until time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 1 p.m.
