A serious vehicle collision on Highway #7 between Ramsay Concession 4A and Ramsay Concession 5A west of Carleton Place, involving a tractor trailer, has resulted in closure of Highway 7 west of Carleton Place. Detours are in place at Concession Ramsay 5A for westbound traffic and at Tatlock Road for eastbound traffic. It is unknown how long the closure will be in place. Updates will be provided as information becomes available. The closure was still in effect at midnight January 30, 2014.
