New Ontario rules to give local residents a say in the construction of power plants

The Globe and Mail has noted that after the gas plant cancellation fiasco, the Ontario Liberal government is moving to  make sure local residents have a say in where future power plants and other energy infrastructure is built. Interested citizens should make the Energy Minister Bob Chiarelli (who represents Ottawa West Nepean) as well as the Premier Kathleen Wynne aware of the Enerdu project and the controversy surrounding it. Local Councillors and residents may now have some impact.
