It is with a heavy heart we announce, on the evening of January 3rd, 2026, Patrick “Pat” Wayne Joynt, aged 76, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle at the Almonte General Hospital.

Patrick was well-loved by many family and friends. Predeceased by his parents, John and Muriel Joynt. He is survived by the love of his life, Constance, wife of 51 years. Brother to Stephen (Shao Mei), Lynda (Richard) and Kevin (Kim). Brother-in-law to Terry (Maria), Heather (Gerry) and Barry (Denise). God Father to Meileen (Martin), Amanda (Mark) and Jordan (Tasha). Uncle and great uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Patrick was a man of his word and lived life with great dignity. He was a lover of music, sports, and travel, a storyteller and a jokester, respected and loved by all. He will be greatly missed.

Family and Friends are invited to pay their respects at Woodvale Pentecostal Church, 205 Greenbank Road, Ottawa, ON K2H 8K9 on Monday, May 11, 2026 from 10:00am -11:00am. Following the visitation, a Celebration of Life Service will commence at 11:00am. With a light reception after the service.
