Repair of twenty-three windows and window sills will soon be under way at the Mississippi Valley Textile Museum. The windows are located in the warehouse of the former Rosamond Mill, which now houses the Museum’s galleries. Damage from weathering and age, combined with the need to make the windows energy efficient, while maintaining their heritage characteristics, posed a daunting challenge.
To finance the project, the museum launched its Adopt-a-Window campaign in February of this year. Donors could adopt an entire window for $300 or half a window for $150. Donors’ names and an indication of which window they have
