Yard of the Week

The final yard of the week for 2016 is at the home of Jennifer and John Liddle at 315 King Street, Almonte.

There are a variety of perennials and annuals consisting of hostas, clematis, nasturtiums, daisies, roses, coleus, petunias, a bloomerang tree, spirea and lilac bushes, along with small statues and tiny ‘critters’.

A simple ladder rests against the Debra Maple tree first blooming red, to dark green, to autumn colours. The back yard is also beautifully landscaped and includes a veggie garden. Jennifer is very proud of her son Adam, who spends much of his time helping to maintain the gardens.

This is the final yard of the week for 2016. Thank you to all who sent in nominations and we look forward to 2017 to acknowledge more of the beautiful gardens in Mississippi Mills.
