16 year old tumbles from rockface across from Brian J. Gallagher Generating Station.

 Employees at the Brian J. Gallagher Generating Station assisted in the rescue of a 16 year old youth who tumbled 15 feet into the riverbed across from it while climbing the rock face adjacent to Mary Street in Almonte. Two witnesses saw the accident at 11:35 a.m. today and alerted police. Fire service, police and ambulance arrived on the scene while generating station employees lowered the water level to allow ready access to the youth who was strapped onto a back board.
