The Ottawa Valley Left Hander Curling Championship gets underway at the Almonte Curling Club on Saturday, Feb 11 at 1 pm.
Left handed curling teams from Ottawa and Eastern Ontario will be competing for the championship trophy and cash prizes.
This is the inaugural year for this competition. This bonspiel will be another unique opportunity for teams who may be heading to the 44 th annual Left Handers Curling World Championships which are held in Oakville running from March 30 to April 2.
Admission is free, although donations to the local Food Bank would be appreciated.
