To help residents cool off during the heatwave the Municipality will open cooling centres.
The following locations will be open to members of the public:
- Almonte Old Town Hall – Saturday and Sunday 11 am – 4 pm
- Almonte Library – Monday to Friday 10 am – 5 pm
Masks at all locations will be mandatory as per the directive from the Health Unit.
Please also bring your own water bottles to fill up.
