Several hundred people turned out at the Almonte Cenotaph today to commemorate lives lost in past wars. The ceremony, held under sunny skies and unseasonably warm temperatures, was, as always, solemn and moving. The audience was invited to join members of Royal Canadian Legion Branch 240 for fellowship at its Bridge Street premises following the ceremony.
