Another successful year for Light Up the Night! The rain stopped, the weather was mild, and the crowds filled Mill Street in Almonte with Christmas cheer and excitement.
While everyone enjoyed the entertainment on stage, leaflets were being placed on parked car windshields.
These leaflets are encouraging townsfolk to become more informed about the new Enerdu hydro development project that is now in the works and to express any concerns they may have to their Town Councilors. Some members of our community fear the proposed project will greatly change the waterfalls in downtown Almonte
