Are you curious about gardening as a potential side income? This year, our events feature speakers who are all local growers. They will share insights and experiences from running their own small gardening businesses, offering valuable perspectives for anyone interested in turning their passion for plants into extra income.

Whether you are just getting started or have years of experience, our speakers series welcomes gardeners of all levels. The talks are designed to be informative and inspiring for everyone, from beginners to seasoned growers.
February Meeting: “Bring a Friend” Night
The February 18th meeting is a special “Bring a Friend” event. No membership is required to attend—everyone is welcome to join, learn, and connect with fellow gardening enthusiasts. We will start the evening with a short demo on Flower Arranging, then followed by the Mississippi Mills Planning Dept talking on the Rural and Villages Vitality Project (learn about starting your own agri-business), and finally a talk by Scott Sigurdsson, on the Journey of Indian Creek Orchard Gardens ( local Cedar Hill organic micro farm). Refreshments will be served following the meeting at social time, a great opportunity to ask questions and meet fellow gardeners/growers.
