The Mac’s Convenience Store on Bridge Street in Almonte was robbed by a male suspect on September 13 just after 9 p.m. The male suspect may have been carrying a knife and received a small amount of cash from the register. He left the store in an unknown direction. The employee at the store was not injured.
The suspect is described as: white male, approximately 6 feet tall, slim build and was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, a wool scarf covering his face and blue jeans.
Members of the Lanark County OPP attended the scene and were assisted by the OPP Forensic Identification Services Unit (FISU).
