Police warn of the danger of going out on the ice in warming temperatures

The Ontario Provincial Police  SAVE Team wants to warn the public of dangerous ice conditions.

With upcoming mild temperatures and rain area lakes and rivers may become dangerous. Stay off the ice until you have checked to make sure it is thick enough to venture on to.  The OPP also suggest you wear a flotation suit.  One ATV or MSV requires a minimum of 5 inches of new clear ice to support it.
