THE CENTRE FOR CREATIVE LIVING (CFCL), is a welcoming organization located in St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Almonte, that provides an opportunity for anyone, regardless of skill level, to pursue creative activities. Currently CFCL offers five weekly creative circles for members —Creative Writing, Off the Wall Artists, Textile Arts, Photographic Arts, and Yesteryear Variety. All groups are participant led with support from volunteer mentors. Members may participate in any of these activities and are encouraged to find their creative voice, develop their skills and build connections. Membership is $125/year, with subsidies available for those who need financial assistance.
CFCL also offers an “Everybody Yoga” program, a meditation group and from time to time, relevant workshops. It is not necessary to be a member to participate in these.
