In these next 2 months the local seniors will be competing in 16 sports events with the medal winners eligible to compete in the Regional Games on August 20 in Cornwall. Five events are completed with the following results :

The next event is Contract Bridge on May 24 and there are more sports such as Golf, Lawn Bowling & Bocce in June. If you wish to register, forms can be picked up at the Almonte Old Town Hall and the arenas in Almonte and Carleton Place but we ask that you register more than 2 weeks before your event to allow for scheduling. The Annual meeting for this district will be at the Carleton Place Legion on Friday,June 28 at 10 am followed by a noon banquet. Tickets for this and the Log Cabin Quilt ,to be won at the banquet, will be available at the upcoming games or members of the executive.
