We are pleased to welcome columnist Jack McLean to the paper. He will write a weekly column on religion and spirituality matters, called Pilgrim’s Notes. We are glad to have him.
Jack was born in Toronto and lives currently with his wife Carol Fortune in Carleton Place.
Jack graduated with distinction from the M.A. program in world religions from the University of Ottawa. Undergraduate studies included French Literature at the Sorbonne and Religious Studies at the University of Toronto.
Jack is a scholar, essayist and poet. He has won awards for both creative writing and distinguished scholarship in the book category from the Association for Baha’i Studies North America.
He has written numerous academic papers, and published three books in the fields of spirituality and philosophical theology. His fourth book, a biography called A Love That Could not Wait is forthcoming from One Voice Press (Maryland, USA).
