Theft of copper wire

On April 15, 2013 at approximately 10:45 am the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a theft report of copper wire that occurred between April 12, 2013 and April 15, 2013.  The wire was located at the Highway #7 eastbound exit ramp at Ashton Station Road.  Approximately 2000 metres of wire was taken and is valued at approximately $15000.

The OPP are looking for assistance in this investigation.  If anyone observed any suspicious activity in this area, they are asked to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
