I see that the crew renovating the water tower on Paterson Street has completed the ‘re-branding’ of the structure, with the new slogan “Friendly Almonte – Mississippi Mills” now painted across the top.
It looks fine, I guess. I would have preferred our sixty-year-old “Almonte the Friendly Town” slogan, but the new one seems a good compromise, given what Town Council has to balance in its deliberations.
