The CoW agenda for last night (Oct 8) included a copy of the recreation master plan (RMP). It lists dozens of recommendations.
My feeling is that the plan has many good ideas for park development and funding.
It makes too many expensive recommendations for new staff and it did not include a cycling or active transportation plan as the RFP requested. In that regard, the RMP recommended we spend $50K for another plan on active transportation.
Come to the public meeting on the RMP at the Old Town Hall October 28 at 7 PM.
