Donna Daley — obituary

Donna Daley (née Tims)

1945 – 2025

With deep love and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Donna Daley in her 80th year, on May 23rd, 2025, surrounded by her family after a long and courageous battle with Parkinson’s Disease.

Born in Almonte, Ontario, Donna was the beloved sister of Jimmy (Janet) Tims and Debbie (Roy) Brydges, and was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Mary Tims.

She was the cherished wife of Roy Daley for 47 years and a devoted mother to Karla (Kirk) Richard and Darrell (Jessyca) Daley. Together, they raised their family in Carp, Ontario. She took immense pride and joy in her grandchildren Trevyn, Rylan, Jayden, Elissa, and Blake, who will miss her deeply.

She will be greatly missed by her brothers- and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends.

Donna’s faith, strength, and compassion were a guiding light to those around her. We take comfort in knowing she is now at peace, and her spirit lives on in all who loved her.

A special thank you to the care staff at Granite Ridge for the love, care, and support given to Donna.

Family and friends may visit at the Cole Funeral Services at Highland Park, 2037 McGee Side Road, Carp, on Friday, May 30, 2025, from 5 pm to 8 pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the Highland Park Chapel on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at 11 am, with a reception to follow. Private family interment at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Donna may be made to the Ottawa Hospital Parkinson’s Research or the Canadian Cancer Society.
