Ladouceur, Randall “Randy” Anthony
December 13, 1965 — January 13, 2026
With heavy hearts we said our final goodbyes to our youngest sibling, Randy who passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of family and friends both near and far, and with his family by his side at the Carleton Place & District Memorial Hospital after a very valiant battle with cancer on January 13, 2026.
Randy faced his cancer diagnosis with extreme courage, grace and dignity. He remained forever grateful for the support and love from both his family and his friends and cherished all the good things that his lifetime allowed him to experience.
A devoted and beloved father to Joe. Much loved and cherished brother to Marie (the late Bill Campbell), Ray (the late Lorna, nee Box), Bobby (the late Lynda, nee Card), Mike, Debby (Doug Fisher), and Anita (Barry Buse). Predeceased by his parents Joseph Ladouceur and Irene (nee LaForce) his brother Roger, his nephew Shawn, and his great niece Courtney.
Fondly remembered by his many other nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. Missing him also are his fur buddies Smokey and Stormy who are a bonded pair that will remain together in their new home.
Although our hearts are broken, we take comfort in our faith and know that Randy is now reunited with Mom and Dad and brother Roger.
The family would like to extend a thank you to the oncology team at The Ottawa Hospital, and the doctors and nursing staff at both the Almonte and Carleton Place hospitals for their compassionate care of Randy in his final days.
A springtime inurnment will take place at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Cemetery, Almonte, Ontario and in keeping with Randy’s wishes a Celebration of Life to be determined at a later date.
For those wishing to make a donation in Randy’s memory, he asked to please consider The Lanark County Food Bank or The Lanark Animal Welfare Society.
Fly high little brother and enjoy the view!
You will remain forever in our hearts and memories till we meet again.
