Saturday, March 24, was the “First Annual” Terrarium Day at the Almonte United Church as Jamie Roy, of Acanthus Floral & Botanicals, led 28 plant lovers to create their own tropical or succulent terrarium gardens. The results were delightfully varied works of art. The workshop was organized by Chris Baburek and Sue Cressy as a fundraiser for the Mississippi Madawaska Land Trust.
