Almonte District High School curling teams win Timbits Elementary Provincial Championship

This past weekend ADHS was represented by two curling teams at the Timbits Elementary Provincials in Gananoque. Team 1 skipped by Derek Bowden, vice Allyn Wark, second Jack McBride and lead Karlan Schenher, had an awesome weekend winning all their games, undefeated in four days of curling action! This ADHS team is now the Timbits Elementary Provincial Champion! They also bring with them an awesome trophy for the year to share with ADHS and a provincial banner to hang in their curling club. Coaches Carolyn and Gord Mountenay would like to commend the boys for their excellent skills and sportsmanship throughout this event.
