The Almonte Tennis Club Open House will be held on Saturday 9 May 2015, 10:00 – 2:00 (Rain date Saturday 23 June, 10:00 – 2:00). Try out some tennis at our courts in Gemmill Park, just beside the arena. There will be refreshments and information on membership, programs for adults, children and youth. Try out some cool equipment, including our ball machine, and sign up for lessons or clinics.
The children and youth program will include the Mississippi Valley Smash youth tennis league for ages 6 to 16 – lots of fun matches, singles and doubles round-robin and playoffs – lessons and cardio-tennis.
As well as lessons and clinics, the adult program includes singles, mixed and ladies doubles challenge ladders, and a tournament to be held in late August. We will be continuing the very popular inter-club weekly doubles matches where you can play with members from other nearby clubs.
