Some folks on County Road 29 a little past Indian Hill Road had an unexpected visitor quite literally drop in at about 7:45 pm on Wednesday.
A car left the road and as the homeowners describe it, “launched off our culvert embankment and flew 85 feet, colliding with the hydro pole on our front lawn. The driver had minor injuries and a concussion. The car struck the pole at about 14’ high. Hydro was out at random houses in the area but was soon restored.”
We’ve so far received no information from the OPP about what may have caused this accident, though they’re sometimes a little slow to issue press releases.
