Passed away peacefully with family by her side on April 30, 2014 at the Almonte General Hospital.

Of Almonte, at the age of 79.
Dear wife of Gordie. Sadly missed by her children Sandi Thompson, Tony Bouyers, Laurie Gosset (Luc), and Jamie Bouyers. Loving Nanni to all of her grandchildren and GeeGee to her great-grandchildren. Survived by her siblings Susan Jessome (the late Wayne), Jim Litchfield (Debbie), and predeceased by Jean Warner, Robert “Bob” Litchfield and survived by sister-in-law Debbie.

A Public Gathering and Reception will be held at the Almonte Legion on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 between the hours of 12 noon and 4 pm. Donations in memory of Barb may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Almonte General Hospital/Fairview Manor Foundation. A special thanks to Dr. Forbes, and the nursing staff of the Almonte General Hospital, as well as the PSW Aide’s and nursing staff at the Almonte Country Haven.
