Passed away peacefully with his beloved wife Elly by his side on October 15, 2021 at Orchard View by the Mississippi.

Of Almonte, Ontario, in his 89th year.
Beloved husband to Elly Lovas-Sutcliffe. Loved and missed by his children Lori Whelan (Greg), Lana Windsor, Robert Sutcliffe, and Derek Sutcliffe (Annelise). Survived by his 8 grandchildren and his 4 great-grandchildren. Fondly remembered by Elly’s children Steven Lovas (Mary), Alan Lovas (Tamara) and Marianne Lovas-Doyle and their children. Son of the late Samuel and Doris (nee Stoddard) Sutcliffe. Brother to Evelyn Cruickshank (the late Ross), Anne Caperchione (the late Tony), Peter Sutcliffe and also sibling to the late Alvin Sutcliffe. Remembered by his several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Donations in memory of Bob may be made to the Almonte General Hospital Fairview Manor Foundation. A special thank-you to all the staff from Orchard View for their compassionate care and the many kindnesses shown to Bob and his family over the years and especially in the past few months. Private family service will be held at a later date.
