Coady’s Car Care are the 2015-16 Almonte Men’s Hockey League (AMHL) champions. They defeated Hopewell’s Property Management in a hard fought championship game on Thursday, March 24th at the Almonte Community Centre with a score of 3-0.
Mark Dill opened the scoring with a goal , and team captain, Matt McNeely scored 2 goals. Goalie Clayton Donnelly, finished the game with a well-earned shutout. The AMHL has been running for over 25 years.
The winning team has their names engraved on the league’s championship trophy, the Beer Keg Cup, just like Lord Stanley’s Cup!
