SportsDistrict 7A Senior Summer Games

District 7A Senior Summer Games

This May & June there will be 15 events in Almonte & Carleton Place sponsored by the local Senior Games Association. The first event is Darts on May 8 & 9 at the Carleton Place Legion, with other sports such as Bocce, Lawn Bowling and card games following until the end of June. Winners of  medals are eligible to compete at the Regional Games in Renfrew County on August 16.


The yearly fee is $20, an increase since the OSGA has raised their fee. Cheques made out to District 7A OSGA should accompany the registration forms which can be returned to Bonnie at the Almonte Old Town Hall or the Carleton Place Legion.

Former players received forms by email or they can be picked up at both Legions,the Almonte Old Town Hall and the Carambeck Community Centre. For more info call Guy at 613 253-2784 or Marilyn at 613 256-3130. The good weather is coming so let’s get out and participate in the local games.
