I’ve had several friends point out that the main ‘News’ section at the top of the Millstone website doesn’t change very often. And that’s true, especially at some times of the year.
My original thought for that section was that it be reserved for ‘really big stories’ — accidents, fires, scandals, that sort of thing. But — and this is a good thing — I often don’t have news of that kind to report. Generally, life just ticks along in our community, without a lot of drama or angst. Let’s count our blessings.
From now on I plan to be more flexible as to what appears in that section. It won’t have to be dramatic (and possibly depressing) news — just noteworthy stuff happening in our town. And that, I hope, will keep that section more current and interesting.
