I would like to add my voice to the plea from Al Jones and his friends and colleagues for access to more rental accommodations in Almonte for seniors. He is spot on. All you have to do is drive around all of our communities in Almonte, particularly when people are out in the summertime, tending to their lawns and gardens to see the demographics at work. Within the next 5 to 10 years, there may well be a significant number of seniors seeking to downsize and wanting rental accommodations. Does the municipality have a plan to build rental accommodation that matches the probable demand in the future?
