Suspects arrested in 2011 robbery at McNeely Avenue Shoppers Drug Mart

  Lanark County OPP have arrested and charged 35 year old Andrew Beauregard  of Montague Township and a 22 year old Cassandra Powers of Carleton Place in relation to a robbery at the Shoppers Drug Mart on McNeely Avenue in December 2011. The robbery took place on December 17, 2011 when  a male entered the store wearing a black balaclava and approached a female employee demanding  money from the register. The suspect fled the store with cash. Investigation by the Lanark County OPP Crime Unit has resulted in the arrest. Cassandra Powers was an employee of the store at the time.

Andrew Beauregard is charged with Robbery with Theft, Disguise with Intent to Commit an Indictable Offence, and Failure to Comply with an Undertaking. He is in custody and scheduled for a bail hearing on May 14, 2012 in Perth Court.

 Cassandra POWERS is also charged with Robbery with Theft and Public Mischief ,reporting an offence which had not been committed. She has been released on a Promise to Appear for Perth Court on June 25, 2012.
