The Millstone has received the following press releases from the OPP. The raids follow an earlier drug bust near Rosetta.
On Thursday April 28 members of the OPP executed a search warrant at a residence in the Village of Lanark. Police located and seized:
- 28.6 grams of cocaine
- trafficking indicia, including cutting agent, digital scales and packaging materials
- several cellular telephones
Shawn FISHER, 33, of Lanark Highlands is charged with:
- 1 count of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking cocaine and
- 4 counts of Failing to Comply with an Undertaking to a Judge or Justice
Autumn CAMERON, 32, of Lanark Highlands was arrested and is charged with one count of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking cocaine.
On Wednesday April 27 the OPP executed a warrant at a residence in Lanark Highlands. During the investigation police located and seized the following:
- approximately 20 pounds of packaged marijuana bud
- 858 marijuana plants
- Digital scales
- Marijuana grow equipment including lights, heat shields, timers, ballasts
- 1 insecure rifle with ammunition
- 1 prohibited weapon- butterfly knife
- Contraband cigarettes
Terry BUREAU, 72, of Lanark Highlands is charged with:
- Possession for the Purpose Schedule II Substance over 3 kgs-Marijuana
- Production of a Schedule II Substance- Marijuana
- Careless Storage of a Firearm
Jeanne BUREAU, 68, of Lanark Highlands is charged with:
- Possession for the Purpose Schedule II Substance under 3 kgs-Marijuana
- Production of a Schedule II Substance- Marijuana
Derek BUREAU, 43, of Lanark Highlands is charged with:
- Possession for the Purpose Schedule II Substance under 3 kgs-Marijuana
- Production of a Schedule II Substance- Cannabis Resin
- Possession of a prohibited weapon
Jerry COOPER, 71, of Lanark Highlands is charged with:
- Possession for the Purpose Schedule II Substance under 3 kgs-Marijuana
