Declan Patrick Blake

Aka Deckles, Decadent, Daddles and Jimmy

(Jan 24, 1940–May 21st, 2020)

Born in Ennis, County Clare, Ireland. Beloved and remembered dearly by his daughters Sarah and Megan, and their mother Cathy Blake. Survived by brothers Laurence (Lucy), Tony (the late, Eileen), and sister Pauline (Larry Parks) in Ireland. Predeceased by brothers Michael and Finbar (Marie).

His warmth and gentleness will be missed by nieces and nephews: Michael, Pamela, Mark, Evan, Anthony, Shona, Cathy, Theresa, Kenneth, Owen, Michael, Robin, Stephanie, and Graeme. Fondly remembered by his many many friends in Ireland, Canada, and especially, at the Naismith Sports Pub.

The family wishes to thank the wonderful staff at Fairview Manor who took such good care of him these past 2 ½ years.

A celebration of life will be scheduled by the family at some time in the future.
