Any other Bell Internet users having problems connecting tonight?
I certainly am. After a long and fruitless wait for Bell tech support on the phone, I finally sent a snippy note to their Twitter support page. They replied almost immediately, apologizing and confirming there is a ‘known issue’ with Internet in various parts of Ontario at present. This map, from a service that logs user reports of Internet access problems, shows how wide-spread the issue is. The red circle is our general part of the world, and the red blotches within show reports of Internet outages.
As an aside, I’m posting this via my cell phone, used as a Wi-Fi ‘hotspot’ — that uses up bandwidth and money, so good night for now 🙂
