For the Birds: Mr. & Mrs. Bluebird are house hunting!

Good Monday morning!

It’s a beautiful day out there today.  I just came in a while ago after I tried to spot the Robin that was singing so beautifully when I noticed a pair of BLUEBIRDS at my birdhouse!!  I haven’t had any birds occupy it since I cleaned it out and put it up last year.  This is the first action I have seen near it!  The male and the female were both on it, checking it out!  I was unable to capture a photo…they were a bit frightened that I was standing there.  (A good distance away.)  I am hoping they use it.  I hope it isn’t too close to my house for them.  That would be the ultimate birthday gift!  I LOVE bluebirds!

This week was a good week for birds.  There is so much life in my yard & property, it’s fun to discover what is happening out there!  I happened to also have the opportunity to witness an Osprey hunting near the 5-Span Bridge!

Saturday is my birthday, and my husband will be taking me “FISHING”!  I put quotations around the word FISHING as, my husband does the actual fishing for fish, while I snap photos of the birds & nature around me.  I am really hoping to see Loon Families.  Stay tuned!

Please enjoy the photos from this past week….and hope with me that the bluebirds move in!

Here’s to a wonderful week, of Feathers &  Beaks!!
